We follow a 5 step process:

  • Step 1: Examine what already is driving traffic to your site via your analytics, competitor data, and various research tools. Output is a keyword list and set of demographic and psychographic profiles, giving us estimated traffic and effort needed to obtain that natural traffic.
  • Step 2: Create a site analysis that looks at your site from the eyes of a search engine: What major items can be quickly remedied to improve search engine visibility based on the targets set forth in Step 1?  Output is an actionable plan that either your internal IT team, vendor, or BlitzLocal team can implement.
  • Step 3: Measure and track performance: Every action we take should be measurable so that we can demonstrate the lift generated from our optimizations. Fancy software and intellectual property means nothing unless we can drive concrete ROI.  We’ll show you how you performed before versus after.  Output is a web-based scorecard that shows keyword rankings by engine, traffic generated, conversions (leads or sales), and ROI.
  • Step 4: Cross channel optimization: We will implement some or all of the recommendations from Step 2.   Many organizations have marketing efforts that compete against one another.  Why not use your PPC efforts to guide what terms you should try to rank for?  Why pay for traffic that you’re already getting on natural search?  By coordinating marketing efforts, you can deliver a unified message to the customer and eliminate marketing waste.  Output is ROI-driven activities in a schedule you can track, plus measurable ROI via our reporting system.
