Who is BlitzLocal?
We are a team of web marketing experts that focus on “lead generation” for local service businesses. When prospects search for local merchants and services on the Internet, we make sure BlitzLocal customers are there.

What is the opportunity?

How can I team up with BlitzLocal and earn money helping small business get found online?
You can join BlitzLocal as an Independent Analyst. We’ll give you some training along with tools that will empower you to be a successful professional internet marketer. Once you are onboard we’ll help you actively solicit business from small and mid-sized businesses. You will be their professional consultant and will help them manage their online marketing activity.
Additional Details:
- You will be self-employed and will have a contractor relationship with BlitzLocal.
- We will provide you with extensive training in search engine advertising and learn how the major search sites (for example, Google and Yahoo) can be leveraged to make local and regional businesses more money.
Key responsibilities include:
- Actively soliciting new business from small- and mid-sized local and regional businesses
- Learn the customer’s business and help them to get the most out of Internet advertising.
- Provide sound advice on growing the customer’s business and using the BlitzLocal Marketing Platform.
- Actively servicing accounts, both in the beginning and on an ongoing basis, by -
- selecting keywords that will attract customers
- writing great ad copy
- interpreting reports to
- show where marketing expenditures are being utilized effectively
- show where opportunities exist to improve overall campaign performance
What if I am not a programmer?
The good news is that you don’t have to know how to program or write optimization code to be an effective Internet marketer. BlitzLocal will provide you with the tools and teach you how to operate them.
Never done web marketing before? That’s okay. It’s not rocket science, but it does require a few weeks of training; a few days if you’re really focused.
How much money can I make?
That part depends on the goals of the individual. Some people will aspire to build their own BlitzLocal franchise, while others will seek to balance the priorities of family life with generating a second income. With these diverse needs in mind, BlitzLocal has created a sales compensation program that is flexible.
- Looking to replace your current income? That will require closing 5-6 new accounts per week. Think “active sales plus account management.”
- Looking to supplement your household income? That can be done by securing 1-2 new customers per week. Think “light sales plus friendly ongoing service.”
- Already have customers who are local and regional businesses? Then every sale creates new revenue.
Your local drycleaner, auto mechanic, hairstylist, restaurant—these are all potential customers that you already know!
Either way, you are creating an annuity; every active customer will create a commission for you, every month, as long as the account stays active and the relationship with BlitzLocal is in good standing.

What does this cost?
There are no books to buy or training sessions to pay for. Even if you had the money, you would not be able to purchase some of the things BlitzLocal’s team will teach you. We believe that equipping our associates to truly be Internet marketing experts is a better use of time than teaching “hard-sell” tactics.
BlitzLocal wants small business customers to think of you first when they have a question about how to grow their online presence. You can feel good about helping out small businesses with something they desperately need. This is not vitamins or weight loss pills; it is measurable, performance marketing. Your friends and colleagues will know you as that Internet guru that gets businesses onto the first page of Google and Yahoo.
Do I have to quit my current job?
No. If you don’t have any clients, we’ll teach you how to build your book of business. If you are a stay-at-home parent, this is an excellent opportunity to work from home, with the flexibility to manage your own schedule. For companies servicing small businesses, this is a service to complement what you are already offering your clients.
We do ask for a commitment of at least 15 hours week, as any less will not put sufficient cash in your pocket, nor will it be worth the on-going investment in training and support we provide you.
Who is the ideal customer?
Anyone spending money in a major yellow pages category is a prospective customer. Dentists, lawyers, movers, plumbers, carpet cleaners, and so forth are all potential customers. The ideal customer is one that has a network of hundreds, if not thousands, of service providers across the country that provides services to local customers. This ideal business may spend anywhere from $500 to tens of thousands of dollars per month, usually without knowing exactly what they’re getting, and often being locked into a 12-month contract.
Internet advertising is much more efficient than the yellow pages, so it is relatively easy to explain to these businesses the rationale behind spending some of their money on finding customers through search engines. BlitzLocal also provides daily performance reports, so customers know exactly how their campaigns are doing—how many times their ad was shown, how many people visited their site, and their best keywords.
Who is NOT the ideal customer?
Internet-only, national, name-brand, adult-oriented, or part-time businesses are not good prospective clients. We also do not service international customers, who require different language targeting and a different mix of search engines.
Our reputation is important, so we do not want to promote businesses that could potentially be distasteful or offensive.
What’s the fine print?
There are several things to fully consider in pursuing this exciting business opportunity.
First, we do not offer salary or benefits. We have a pay-for-performance mindset, which applies to our customers, reps, and operations. If you are a quick learner and motivated, the compensation plan rewards performance. But if you don’t provide value to your clients, your book of business will stagnate and so will your commissions.
BlitzLocal has certain processes and technology that give the company a significant competitive advantage over other firms that do search engine marketing. We require that you do not share such intellectual property.
If you leave the company, you are prohibited by contract from working in this industry for 12 months.. We hope you will respect the investment we make in you.
